Everyone has a hairstory. Here is mine...
My hair wake-up call came while I was online browsing conference photos. (I had attended a conference the week before and was excited to see the photos.) Boy was I surprised. The photographer had taken the photo of the presenter, so of course, the back of my head was photographed. I was so shocked at what I saw it stopped me dead in my tracks that I did not continue to look at the rest of the conference photos. Instead, with mouth agape, I continued to stare at my hair and the back of my head…
How embarrassing! I had no idea that my hair was in such bad condition. It was broken all over the place. It is at least three different lengths and if you look closely, you could see my neck through my hair. It was thin and damaged hair, though I didn’t realize this then. It was dry and in very damaged condition.
From that day forward, I vowed never again. My hair was never going to be in that bad of a state again. I started learning about hair. I started examining what it was I was putting on my hair. This was another wake-up call of sorts because the hair products that I was using regularly were full of hair harming chemicals. I call these chemicals “constant chems” because we use them frequently and they (the hair product and chemicals) remain in our hair until we wash them out. I began to wonder what those constant chems were doing to my hair. Maybe they had contributed to my hair’s dry and damaged state.
I started to replace my store brought products with products that I made myself product by product until I had my own personal line of hair care products. I crafted my products using natural ingredients that would mimic what I found in the store bought products with the exception of the hair harming ingredients. My hair had been harmed enough and I was trying to bring it back to health.
I am happy to report that I was able to nurse my hair back to health. The dry, damaged hair was gone and was replaced with healthy, thick hair that has lots of bounce. I am also able to go from straight to curly styles with ease using my products. I couldn’t believe how much my hair has bounced back. I have since cut off all of my damaged hair and I am aiming for waist length hair.
I am now offering these same products that have helped me to the public. Long Lovely Locks is a state of mind. It means having healthy hair that thrives; the length is secondary. The key is to have healthy hair.
My advice to those of you who are struggling with the same issues evident in my before picture is to first bring your hair to a state of health and then go for length. Healthy hair will grow in ways that you have never imagined. My products are specifically formulated to provide you with healthy hair that thrives. They also really encourage growth but the length that you end up with is totally up to you!
One last thing. If you had a choice, would you feed your hair organic food or processed food? If you chose organic food then let Long Lovely Locks provide you with the best organic food that your hair could ask for. So, what do you want to do for your hair today?
Sincerely,

Long Lovely Locks Founder
