animal glycerin, animal keratin, animal protein, beeswax, bone char sugar, carmine, chitin, elastin, fragrances made from or with animal extracts (ambergris, castoreum, civet, and musk), gelatin, honey, lanolin, lard, propolis, rennet, shellac, silk, tallow or whey.

We do not use grape seed extract nor urea to preserve our products. Long Lovely Locks products are completely free of paraben preservatives. Parabens are allergens and, according to research published in a 2004 issue of the Journal of Applied Toxicology, have been found in breast tumors. Parabens come in many forms and could start with methyl-, propyl-, ethyl- and butyl. Some studies have shown that parabens mimic estrogen in rodents; the chemicals also have been shown to stimulate growth of human breast-cancer cells in the lab. If it has the word "paraben" stay away. These statements are meant to inform rather than to "scare."

You will NEVER find any of the following in our products:
Alcohols, chemicals, lanolin, methylisothiazolinone, mineral oil, parabens, paraffin, petroleum, phthalates, silicones, SLES, SLS or any preservatives that include formaldehyde donors.
